Think gingerbread vibes for this recipe – warming cinnamon, a little kick of ginger and splash of sweetness. Too good to be true! You can enjoy all the health benefits of fresh ginger tea in this recipe, but as a creamy, comforting latte. This Healthy Ginger Latte with Cinnamon Swirl is the perfect fall drink!
I LOVE this time of year when the air gets a little cooler, the leaves change colour and pumpkin spice is everywhere! And while I do enjoy pumpkin spice, this simple ginger and cinnamon combo is my favourite. So quick and easy to make at home for anytime of the day (caffeine free, yay!).
It’s also sweetened with just a little maple syrup – so much nicer than the artificial flavour pumps you get in most coffee shops. While you can use any milk you like, I personally find the barista style oat milk is the best. I use a milk frother to make it feel like a latte, but you can also simply whisk the milk on the stove.
I starting drinking this a couple of times per week when I was about 3 months postpartum and I still have it regularly. Try this Healthy Ginger Latte with Cinnamon Swirl today – you won’t regret it!
Ayurveda Perspective on Healthy Ginger Latte
Milky drinks like lattes are heavier to digest than straight herbal teas. However, the ginger and cinnamon in this recipe perfectly balance it out and can actually improve your digestion overall. Check out my fresh ginger tea recipe to find out more about the benefits of this spicy root!
