The Best Rooibos Latte - Caffeine Free

Looking for a caffeine free alternative to your regular latte that still tastes delicious? Enter The Best Rooibos Latte! This was one of my favourite caffeine free drinks throughout pregnancy.

Equipment

  • Milk frother (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teabag rooibos
  • 1 cup boiled water
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp sweetener  (maple syrup or honey)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Boil water and brew rooibos tea to liking in your favourite mug
  • Meanwhile, froth the oat milk - preferably in a milk frother or otherwise on the stove with a whisk
  • Remove the tea bag and stir in sweetener and vanilla before finally adding the frothed milk

Notes

  • Oat milk tends to work the best for me in my frother, but you can use any milk you like (I have not had great results with almond milk)
  • If you don't have a frother, heat the milk on the stove in a small pot and whisk vigorously
