Festive Maple and Pecan Porridge
Curl up on the couch with a warming bowl of Festive Maple & Pecan Porridge. This cosy recipe is perfect for frosty mornings when you need to warm yourself up from the inside out!

Ingredients

porridge oats

cup
almond milk
((add more while cooking if desired))

tsp
maple syrup
▢

small handful
pecans
▢

tsp
ground cinnamon
▢

tsp
ghee
((optional))
Instructions
Add the oats and almond milk to a small pot and cook until soft and creamy, adding more liquid if desired
Serve in a bowl and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, maple syrup and pecans
Optional extra - melt a tsp of ghee on top!
Notes
Depending on your preferred consistency, you may want to add a little more almond milk while cooking
Experiment with your favourite festive spices like nutmeg, cloves or star anise
Ghee is optional in this recipe, but highly recommended!
